CIRCULAR

NCCOEEE congratulates all the participants of protest march from Kerala, Tamul Nadu and other nearby and far away states in the venue of Power Ministers’ Conference at Kochi, Kerala on 6th November, 2015 against Government of India proposition towards enactment of Electricity (Amendment) Bill, 2014. NCCOEEE also convey heartiest felicitation to all its constituents of Kerala, who rendered their best to make the protest rally successful in spite of squally weather during the final phase of preparation.

Our object behind organizing the rally became successful in its sense and spirit. Ministry of Power, Government of India tried to evade the discussion on the proposed Electricity (Amendment) Bill, 2014. On the contrary Ministry of Labour convened a meeting on 5thNovember, 2015 and committed that they will organise meeting for amicable settlement of the issue. A report on the rally and discussion with the Power Minister is attached here to for information of all the NCCOEEE constituents and circulation among the activists and members of the organisation.

On 6th November, 2015 after the rally NCCOEEE leadership had a meeting at Kochi to review the future programmes including Strike and Work boycott on 8th December, 2015. The meeting concluded with decision of convening an extended meeting of NCCOEEE at Delhi on 16thNovember, 2015. NCCOEEE leadership kept into consideration that availability of railway reservation is very hard amidst the festive season. In view of situation of the forthcoming struggle, this meeting was found unavoidable and very much expedient.

Hence, an extended meeting of NCCOEEE is here by convened on 16th November (12 noon) at BTR Bhawan (13A, Rouse Avenue, New Delhi- 110 002). Besides the President and General Secretary of Constituent National Federations of NCCOEEE, each state should represent with at least two senior level leaders in this meeting. It should be treated as very urgent.
